საერთაშორისო პროექტის "Christmas Card Exchange " ავსტრალიელი ხელმძღვანელი ჯუდი ბარისგან ნოემბრის დასაწყისში მივიღეთ შეტყობინება, რომ ჩვენი სკოლა ჩართულ იქნა მე-17 ჯგუფში /ჯგუფის კოორდინატორი საქართველოდან ICT მენეჯერი ელიზა ბაგალიშვილი/, სადაც გაერთიანდნენ 7 ქვეყნის მოსწავლეები, მან აგრეთვე გამოგვიგზავნა ვიდეო მასალა. ჩვენი სკოლის მე-4, მე-7 და მე-8 კლასელები სიამოვნებით ჩაერთვნენ ამ პროექტში.

Christmas Card Exchange Project, 2008-2009
1. Name of Project: Christmas card exchange
2. Brief one-sentence description of project: Schools exchange greeting cards through the mail and learn about each other through the iEARN forums.
3. Full description of project: Teachers and students prepare an envelope with Christmas cards to send to the other participants prior to Christmas. Students that do not celebrate Christmas are encouraged to join the project. The project may be called the Greeting card exchange and students would send Chinese New Year, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Eid greeting cards. Each school will be placed in a group with approximately seven other schools and will prepare either handmade or purchased cards (decorations may be included) to send to each of the other schools.

6. Possible project/classroom activities:
a. Students prepare cards to send to partners
b. Classes send information and photos to each other online
c. Classes receive cards from other countries and prepare display in home school
d. Classes prepare press release for local newspaper / television
7. Expected outcomes/products: Each classroom will receive an envelope with Christmas cards from a number of different countries and will be able to make an exhibition to show their school community. Students will learn about Christmas traditions or other celebrations in other countries.
